The role

As a Braze Implementation Engineer within the Platform tribe, you’ll be the product owner for Braze across Dojo working with Marketing, Sales, Product and Data to scope and deliver initiatives that drive customer acquisition, product adoption and customer loyalty.

Dojo empowers businesses to thrive in the experience economy and we're currently growing at a faster rate than the banks, handling over £20billion in card transactions each year. That’s why we need to develop automated communications to help our business scale. You will work along every aspect of the customer journey to build highly targeted and personalised automated communications in Braze that enhance the customer experience. 

We are at the early stages of a migration to Braze and are looking for someone that embodies our Dojo values, ready to bring their experience to this greenfield area. A strong understanding of the wider Marketing technology and data stack is key to success in this role.

What you’ll do

  • Set the long-term vision for customer relationship management and automated marketing, developing a strategy and roadmap to deliver the vision

  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders from across the business to identify new opportunities for Braze to reduce costs and improve efficiencies

  • Develop and execute ad-hoc and automated email marketing and support campaigns

  • Work with the Marketing Analytics team to analyse the effectiveness of campaigns and impact on end-to-end customer experience, delivering reports and insights to campaign owners. Often the sources and outputs of the data are atypical so you’ll need to be resourceful to craft creative solutions.

  • Train and up-skill the Marketing team, develop governance and use best practice methods and templates to ensure successful delivery of campaigns

  • Keep our processes and platforms up-to-date with marketing automation best practices

  • Own the relationship with Braze, ensuring contractual requirements are aligned to our technical strategy

  • Develop new templates and assets in line with our brand guidelines in HTML and CSS

  • Develop advanced workflows pulling JSON from external APIs using Connected Content with conditional formatting in Liquid

  • Work closely with our Data Integrations team to ensure customer profiles are enriched to drive truly personalised campaigns

  • Conduct multivariate and A/B testing

You have

  • Demonstrable experience in Braze administration

  • A growth mindset that gives you focus on optimisation and efficiency across tools and processes

  • Deep experience in marketing tech implementation, especially across CRM and digital 

  • Experience in managing technical and commercial stakeholders; strong project management skills 

  • Ability to pivot quickly and make decisions based on changing needs in a fast-paced environment

  • A strategic mindset that can see beyond the day-to-day to help the business achieve long-term sales and support goals

  • Comfortable with working to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects 

  • Knowledge of GDPR, PECR and other relevant privacy regulations
