Enter, Dojo.

Dojo represents an enormous organisational shift; we had to restructure how we thought and did things. In a year since we officially launched Dojo, we've welcomed over 20,000 new customers, 500 new team members and called two brand new offices home. We've evolved into a dynamic, product-led business creating our own payments products, integrated card machines and transaction monitoring app. Here, we go home each day knowing we've made a difference —our industry-leading NPS score and 5-star Trustpilot rating tells us that!

As we enter our next growth phase and embark on another exciting shift towards a B2B2C model following the acquisition of queue-management system and consumer app, Walkup, we have a lot of work to do. Over the next year, the business will transform again as we steady the ship for multinational growth and product diversification. We're looking for people who can enhance our agility, ambition and risk-taking mentality while turning us into a well-oiled machine that's well-positioned to shape the experience economy.

The role

Reporting into the Director of Talent Development and working closely with our close-knit team of Digital Learning Developers and Learning Experience Designers, you will take learning concepts from analysis and design through to development to deliver accessible, innovative, and impactful learning in line with the company's brand. 

Working with key people across the organisation, you’ll be responsible for understanding the needs of our people and designing data-driven learning solutions that improve employee experience and shorten time to proficiency. You’ll have ample experience in digital learning design with excellent project and stakeholder management skills. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, be comfortable with rapid change and have high standards of quality.

What you will do…

  • Be a learning business partner and liaise with subject matter experts, learning specialists and stakeholders to determine skills gaps and learning opportunities.

  • Build and execute learning pathways to support our business strategy and delight our people.

  • Drive, design and produce exceptional digital learning solutions to enable learning in the flow of work, from inception to build; creating video scripts, storyboarding, mapping learner pathways etc.

  • Curate learning content, driving engagement and innovation in our internal learning platform (Thrive LxP).

  • Manage stakeholder expectation and learning projects with confidence.

  • Work closely with our Digital Learning Developers to ensure the learning solutions are delivered on time and meet stakeholder expectations.

  • Collaborate with the Digital Design Team to deliver within an agile environment, adapting at pace when things change. 

  • Actively contribute to the Talent Development strategy.

  • Make decisions based on data and use data to demonstrate the impact of learning solutions.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital learning trends — always look for new ways to help us to remain innovative and effective in delivering value to our employees.

  • Manage relationships with the 3rd party software and content providers.

  • Share Digital Learning knowledge with the wider Talent Development team.

  • Become an expert for a range of our products and translate technical content into engaging learning experiences.

  • Create prototypes and mockups of interactive digital learning experiences using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline. 

  • Attend regular project team meetings as required and communicate schedule, risks and issues to the Digital Learning Team.

  • Inspire and enable peer to peer learning opportunities.

What you will bring...

  • Relevant experience in digital learning production 

  • Experience designing, storyboarding and developing content in a range of authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360) and presenting them to stakeholders.

  • Experience with design software is highly desirable including designing effective visuals, infographics and editing videos (preferably with Adobe Creative Cloud).

  • Experience using and managing online learning platforms.

  • Instructional design and adult learning theory expertise.

  • Expert content writing, presentation and communication skills, together with knowledge of the content development process.

  • Experience in managing projects end to end.

  • Experience working in regulated environments (financial sector), the tech sector or in a scale-up is desirable.
