The Role

As an iOS Engineer here at Dojo you’ll be embedded in our Customer Success Tribe ensuring every customer interaction with our iOS app is unrivalled. Responsible for delivering critical account information, real time transaction data and business insights to on average 12,000 unique daily users. With record monthly sign-ups and international expansion plans we expect to see this number increase considerably!

We are looking for someone who takes pride & ownership in what they build, being able to voice their opinion and share their expertise, but also listen and make the correct decision. You shouldn’t be afraid to celebrate successes, admit mistakes, turn to others for help, whilst always maintaining a sense of honesty and humility. You should be looking to improve each day, caring about the tech, architecture, and people you interact with, understanding both the small details and the big picture in everything we do. 

What you will do…

  • Achieve business objectives through the creation of features and products, in collaboration with peers, stakeholders, product, and technical management

  • Own your code and features in production, in collaboration with the support team

  • Participate in an environment where problems can be shared, understood and resolved, always keeping the customer at the heart of decision making

  • Support and nurture development of more junior team members

  • Work within both your multi disciplinary squad, and the wider iOS Engineering team (currently 7 members)

What you will bring...

  • Strong knowledge of Swift

  • Some level of SwiftUI experience

  • Product-focused mindset

  • Handled app store release process

  • Experience working with reusable components

  • Knowledge of reactive programming (RXSwift, Combine)

  • Knowledge of architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, VIPER, VIP)

  • Familiarity with GraphQL and Web services (REST, JSON etc)

  • Unit/UI testing knowledge with XCTest framework
