The Role...

Leads a product focussed Launchpad with a specific mission to deliver a differentiated product, levelling up our go-to-market strategy and customer lifecycle to win and service customers with £1M-£50M in CTO.

Providing engineering leadership to engage in initiatives and projects that have a Dojo wide impact. Responsible for cross-functional engineering collaboration to enable us to provide the best solutions for our customers, coaches and mentors people across the wider organisation and owns north star engineering metrics.

What you’ll do…

  • Steers the engineering direction to achieve Dojo’s goals within their Launchpad.

  • Acts as an enabler for engineering teams to be highly effective.

  • Builds teams, systems and processes for the future; driving our our mid-market products

  • Leading by example to foster a high performing culture that emphasises Dojo values and traits.

  • Drives engineering standards in line with standards and drives initiatives throughout the engineering org

  • Empowers their people to own decisions, take risks, to fail fast and forward, achieving north star goals and continued innovation for our customers.

  • Owns hiring and performance management of the Launchpads engineering team, ensuring we effectively staffed with the right people doing the right things, including cross-tribe capabilities

  • Is accountable for ensuring high quality work is produced within initiative/project timescales.

  • Has an eye for high potential talent, can nurture and grow people into more senior individual contributor or leadership positions.

  • Leads by example by contributing to the tech community via public speaking, writing blogs and other engagements to help attract engineering talent and enhance Dojo's profile as an employer.

  • Has a technical background that enables them to steer deep and complex technical decision making.

  • Demonstrated history leading teams of engineers

  • An advocate of three amigos, understands how to contribute to drive continuous discovery of new products for their market.

  • Thinking Big: Ability to translate external trends into industry leading solutions for Dojo, shaping functional strategy accordingly.

  • Drives results: Proven ability to deliver enduring high-performance, using data, making tough decisions to keep the function on track of its mission.

  • Influencing collaboratively: The ability to manage senior stakeholders with conflicting views and differing priorities. You must be able to clearly articulate and sell the value proposition of mid-market to both senior leaders and the wider engineering org for alignment and adoption. 

  • Leading empowered teams: Demonstrated experience leading people from multiple disciplines to contribute to the overall vision and goals, growing them into high performers that continuously innovate.
