We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
The role
Dojo is growing fast — and so are the financial crime risks that come with scale. With 70,000+ customers across the UK and an expanding European footprint, our CDD function is central to protecting Dojo and the merchants we serve. Our Senior CDD Analysts are experienced, self-sufficient decision-makers who set the standard for quality and judgement across the team.
As a Senior CDD Analyst, you'll take ownership of our most complex and high-risk cases, act as a point of escalation for peers, and play a key role in continuously improving our onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes. You'll work at the intersection of Fraud, AML and KYC, partnering closely with our FinCrime, Underwriting and 2nd Line Compliance teams.
What you will do...
Lead the review and decisioning of complex CDD cases at onboarding, including corporate structures, UBO identification and enhanced due diligence
Manage high-risk and escalated alerts from screening solutions — Sanctions, PEPs, Adverse Media and WorldCheck — through to resolution
Conduct periodic reviews for European customers, ensuring ongoing AML compliance and flagging material changes in customer risk profile
Act as first point of escalation for CDD Analysts, providing guidance on difficult cases and maintaining consistent decision quality across the team
Work closely with the FinCrime and MLRO function where SAR/STR filing may be required, ensuring cases are documented in line with internal protocols
Support development and maintenance of CDD procedures, identifying gaps and raising these with the Team Lead
Contribute to audit and regulatory readiness — case files should be complete, accurate and audit-trail ready at all times
Identify and flag systemic process issues to the Team Lead and ERM where controls are not operating as designed
Support the training and onboarding of new CDD Analysts
What you will bring...
Proven experience in a KYC, CDD or AML role within financial services, payments or fintech — ideally 2+ years
Strong technical knowledge of AML regulation, KYC best practice and card scheme or payment processing environments
Experience handling complex corporate structures, PEP and Sanctions screening, and periodic review processes
Demonstrable judgement in high-pressure, high-risk situations with the ability to clearly articulate your reasoning
Excellent attention to detail with a track record of accurate, well-documented case work
Confident communicator, comfortable engaging merchants, internal stakeholders and 2nd Line teams
Proactive and solutions-focused — you identify what needs fixing and act on it
ICA Certificate in KYC or AML (or equivalent) desirable; willingness to work towards professional qualification if not held
Experience with screening tools such as WorldCheck, ComplyAdvantage or similar
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
