The Role

Procurement in Dojo is a thriving function and in high demand.  The business has and is continuing to invest heavily with third parties particularly in the technology space.  We’re looking for a category specialist to support the business across all sub-categories with new requirements plus supplier and renewal management. This role will ensure we secure commercial value from our technology suppliers and establish contracts that can scale with us and minimise risk. 

Procurement does not exist in this business to slow things down; indeed the opposite.  We provide our stakeholders and colleagues with fast paced pragmatic procurement support.  With no hard or fast policies or processes, you will be approachable, agile and comfortable with ambiguity. And the best thing is, we don’t impose ourselves on our stakeholders; they come to us.  This results in great working relationships and fantastic outcomes for the business and our suppliers.

What you’ll do …

  • Support the business in all aspects of technology procurement including categories such as:

    • SaaS, PaaS, IaaS

    • Hardware and End User Computing

    • Cloud and hosting

    • Outsourcing

  • Supplier selection, new contract negotiations and renewal management.

  • Work closely with our Legal, Finance and Information Security Teams as part of a crack team of commercial experts!

  • Work with the Technology Team, develop a category strategy that supports Dojo’s ambitious growth plans.

  • Work with the Technology Team to rationalise the supplier base, consolidating where possible.

  • Monitor supplier performance and embed supplier performance management for the critical suppliers.


What you’ll bring …

  • Comprehensive experience in a procurement or commercial role with a focus on the technology category.

  • Strong engagement skills at all levels within an organisation, including C Suite.

  • Sharp commercial focus, where driving value from our suppliers is at the heart of what you do.

  • A pragmatic, commercial and creative approach to problem solving and decision-making

  • A team player with great people skills and a good sense of humour who can effectively and efficiently collaborate, building relationships with colleagues throughout the business.

  • Contract negotiation experience and expertise, particularly in the technology category.
