The Role 

We are looking for a Senior People Partner to join our team, reporting to the Director of People and Talent. You will be a trusted strategic partner and coach to our most senior leaders in our Technology, Data and Product organisation based in London. 

Your overall goal? 

Provide expert advice, challenge, guidance and support to enable our senior leaders to lead their business and teams through growth and change.

You’ll understand the critical business priorities, build organisational and people capability, and partner with senior leaders and centres of expertise to identify and deliver People initiatives that support the business as it continues to scale-up whilst fostering our unique and special culture.  

You’ll always adopt a people-centric and inclusive approach.  Our people are our customers, and as a people partner you help to foster belonging and engagement for everyone.  At Dojo, we constantly iterate - listening closely to our customers and making improvements based on their feedback. That’s no different with our people internally.
 

What you will do …

Partner with senior leaders to align on key people priorities and support the delivery

Advice, coach and challenge senior leader to expand their people leadership mindset, skills and behaviours

Use people data (e.g. engagement survey, DEI data, performance data, attrition metrics or qualitative data) to proactively identify opportunities and problems, and work together with senior leaders and People Centre of excellence to formulate and implement solutions and measure their impact. 

Partner with senior leaders to ensure optimal org design and effectiveness - query new roles as they arise, question where they fit in and ensure all headcount plans are carried out to plan.  

Support our leaders on key People processes, e.g. engagement survey feedback, promo cycles, talent reviews

Be a leader in the People team - Support People Partner colleagues, and lead a small associate People Partner/People Advisor team for data/product/tech

Support on any other people team work streams and ad hoc projects as needed

What you will bring… 

Strong Experience in a strategic HR role, working directly with senior-level leaders in technology, data or product

Forward-thinking relationship builder, coach and advisor, willing and confident to challenge the status quo or a people leader’s approach!

Strategic thinking and analytical skills to help you design and deliver people initiatives  which align to the business goals and continuously evaluate priorities and act accordingly

Comfort with ambiguity and a fast paced environment - not all of our problems are defined, nor all our processes built out and things change quickly

Long-distance calls are a must, but we’ve always valued in-person work when it’s possible, especially meetings. We aim for asynchronous communication when we can though.
