The role 

Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career with a dynamic and fast-paced organisation? As our Group Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company. We are seeking a highly ambitious, technically proficient, and qualified accountant to join our team.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Management Accounts team, collaborating closely with our Financial Controller and Senior Financial Accounting Manager. You will take ownership of the preparation of monthly financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance while providing valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to influence and enhance our financial processes and contribute to our growth and success.

What you will do… 

● Manage a team of 2 accountants responsible for the preparation of the monthly P&L, Balance sheet & Cash Flow Statement

● Business partnering with Commercial Finance and the stakeholders in the business for forecast vs actual results for the whole P&L

● Prepare management accounts and develop the month-end reporting pack.

● Own and prepare cash flow, balance sheet and P&L for monthly Investors pack

● Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit and ensure timely and accurate completion

● Support and mentor junior staff members and cross-team knowledge including assisting with / indirectly managing the A.P teams processes. 

● Maintain / rebuild existing reporting pack using OfficeConnect. 

● Undertake other projects and analysis on an ad hoc basis. 

What you will bring... 

● Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). 

● Strong experience working in a Management Accounts role producing board level quality reporting

● A passion for business partnering 

● Experience in capitalisation of Development costs. 

● A proactive problem-solver with proven experience in improving processes. 

● Advanced Excel skills. 

● Proficient in the use of accounting software, Workday preferred but not essential
