We’re reinventing payments.
In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year.
But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.

The Role

You will join as a Product Security Engineer in the Product Security team of a fast-growing and successful FinTech. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the security posture of our organization's critical assets and providing expert guidance during the design, development and operation of our products.

To excel, you'll need to be proactive, pragmatic, and highly collaborative.

Your responsibilities will be diverse, focused on delivering results that align with our business objectives. Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, we are dedicated to transforming the payments sector by building next-generation products.

What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive Security assessments of our products and processes to identify vulnerabilities in their design, implementation and/or deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers to integrate and enhance security practices throughout the product lifecycle, empowering them to build solutions that align with business goals while operating within risk appetite.
  • Utilise your expertise in secure cloud architecture (mainly GCP and AWS) and containerised environments to collaborate on architecture reviews and threat modelling exercises.
  • Establish security requirements with a defence in-depth approach that seamlessly integrates with the business and technology strategy.
  • Risk assess and prioritise security threats and findings by assessing their impact and likelihood, delivering actionable recommendations to engineering teams. This includes findings from your own reviews, and outputs from AppSec, CSPM, Pen Tests and vulnerability management systems.
  • Proactively contribute to the improvement of security tooling to identify defects through automation of security testing and streamlining vulnerability management.

What you will bring:

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in Cyber Security, Secure Software Development, or a closely related role.
  • Experience working closely and effectively with software engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting security reviews and/or threat modeling for products and applications.
  • A pragmatic and collaborative approach to security, balancing risk with business needs.
  • Solid understanding of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with application security tools within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaleup environment that values adaptability and innovation.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Kubernetes Security and DevSecOps best practices.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Experience with security testing tools, technologies and techniques.

Dojo home and away

We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.

That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.

With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.

Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
