Since launching Dojo in 2019 to address business owners’ pain points across the UK, we’ve seen incredible growth as a scaling fintech, welcoming over 60,000 new customers and growing the Dojo team to 900+ people across five locations. In that time, we’ve also introduced Dojo Virtual Queues & Bookings and the Dojo restaurant finder app, formerly known as WalkUp and loved by 600 restaurants and 600,000 diners across the UK. The Role
We’re looking for talented and collaborative Full Stack Developer to join our tribe that is focused on building new/next generation payment products for our customers.
Your work will be varied, covering current & future products, working alongside business stakeholders and helping shape everything we do. You’ll have the freedom to do your best work here, with each tribe and squad having real autonomy to bring ideas to the table, using data insights to decide what is the next best thing to build.
Our New Payments Product Tribe is focused on building products for the future, working closely with our customers to understand what their needs are today but also what they expect to impact them in the future. A real freedom to innovate and push the boundaries.

What you will do…
-
Collaborate in a cross functional team, contributing clean, scalable and highly maintainable code
-
Design and implement systems in collaboration with the architecture team
-
Manage and maintain the codebase ensuring that it is running as expected
-
Writing well documented APIs for cross functional teams to consume
-
Maintain a product focused mindset, focusing on outcomes rather than just clearing tickets
-
Work at a high cadence, pushing code to production frequently whilst maintaining high levels of quality
-
Support & mentor engineers of all experience levels and foster a collaborative and open culture
-
Champion new technologies and ways of working (where appropriate)
