This is a new role and a very exciting opportunity to lead our pricing strategy. This person will own the monetisation of all our products / features and define our general approach to price. They need to have comfort with ambiguity and be ready to thrive with a very high level of autonomy and accountability.
This role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and have high visibility at exec level. In a dynamic industry context, this role will play a key role in enabling company strategic objectives, ensuring our future success and creating value by monetising our exceptional product and product differentiation.
What you will do…
Own company pricing, monetisation and margin strategy
Work with a cross functional team including Finance, Product, Data, Commercial and Marketing to define the overall pricing strategy
Build pricing proposals on new products and revisit prices for existing products based on a deep understanding of the value they generate to customers, associated impact on company financials, competition and market dynamics as well as strategic objectives of adoption
Bring fresh and deep technical thinking to pricing
Ensure effective pricing governance and processes
Communicate on pricing developments within the organisation and to customer
What you will bring…
Experience in Pricing Strategy in a fast-paced related industry
Ideally experience in the payments industry - familiar with interchange / schemes / payment processing
A strong business background, ideally with a mix of corporate, consulting and startup/tech experience and proven leadership abilities.
Strategic thinking: able to create long term plans for growth and translate them into actions
Strong leadership skills - an ability to lead and motivate a high performing cross-functional team
Comfort with ambiguity and operating in a ‘test and learn’ culture, with a very high level autonomy and accountability
Ability to thrive in a very fast paced, scale up environment, and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up to make things happen
