The Role

You will be a part of the Management Accounts team, reporting into our Finance Manager; helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of financial operations and supporting monthly financial reporting.

What you will do…

  • Responsible for the maintenance and completion of various transactional processes, ensuring timely and accurate numbers.

  • Responsible for the validation and reconciliation of invoices and other source information that support journal entries.

  • Support the month-end process through the preparation of journals and supporting analysis/schedules.

  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations as part of management reporting.

  • Daily management of Finance inboxes.

  • Work closely with and provide resource support across the Accounts Payable and Treasury teams as required.

  • Undertake other projects and analysis on an ad hoc basis.

  • Seek to improve processes where possible.

What you will bring...

  • Must be a part-qualified accountant or interested in starting (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).

  • Understanding of finance processes.

  • A proactive problem-solver with proven experience in improving processes.

  • An energetic team player with an attention to detail.

  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.

  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, Workday preferred but not essential.

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop within a growing and exciting Fintech.
